Beware Boiúna 2026 full movie is a 2026 monster horror film directed by Mike P. Nelson, the genre filmmaker behind the Wrong Turn reboot and segments of V/H/S/85. Produced by Constantin Film and distributed by Lionsgate Films, it premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 17, 2026 before its U.S. theatrical release on October 2, 2026. The film stars Kiana Madeira, Jessica Rothe and Logan Marshall-Green, with Jackson Bews, Juan Pablo Shuk and Will Close in support, from a screenplay by Alan B. McElroy based on a story by McElroy and Tony Giglio.
Set deep in the Amazon rainforest, the film follows a medical mission traveling by boat to bring aid to remote communities. When the team awakens Boiúna, a colossal mythical serpent whose name means “mother of rivers,” their humanitarian journey turns into a desperate fight for survival. Local legend holds that she decides who lives and who dies, and the humans’ own greed and violence, including a scheming pair of brothers exploiting the land, provoke her wrath. Nelson stages the creature feature with a mean, practical edge, pitting the missionaries and a local deckhand against both the beast and each other.
