The Influencer Project (2026) is a found-footage horror thriller that brings the genre that The Blair Witch Project made famous into the smartphone era. Directed by Mike Nybroe in his feature directorial debut, the film is produced by Blair Witch creators Eduardo Sánchez and Gregg Hale, and it swaps haunted woods for the equally unsettling terrain of social media fame. Starring real-life British content creator Chiara King as a fictionalized version of herself, the film blurs the line between performance and reality in a way that feels unnervingly current. This page covers everything about the influencer project 2026 full movie, from the cast to the story.
The story follows Chiara King as she travels to Copenhagen with a documentary crew promising an unfiltered look behind the glamorous business of online fame. But as cameras and devoted fans follow her every move, someone else is watching too. When an obsessive stalker begins closing in, the documentary mutates into something far more terrifying, blurring the line between content and evidence, follower and predator, fact and fiction. The second half of the influencer project 2026 full movie shifts from documentary to pure survival horror. King is joined on screen by Luca Storm, Mike Nybroe, Jazmine Summer, and Alexandre Willaume, all playing versions of themselves or people drawn into the orbit of her celebrity.
What gives the film its sting is how personal it is: King has dealt with real-life stalkers, and she drew on that experience for her first film role. The horror here is not supernatural but entirely human — the danger of broadcasting your location, your habits, and your life to an audience of strangers. It is a timely thriller about the dark side of influence, where every post is evidence and every follower is a question mark.
